Feed Your Head, Feed The Souls

The problem of poverty in large city areas is one that has existed since the beginning of time. There is a huge number of people out in New York City that cannot afford to eat even one meal a day, adding to the illness and death tolls. Many of these people will die without the help of outside organizations. There are numerous organisations that are there, out of the goodness of their hearts, ready to feed the hungry, because no one should go without being able to eat a proper meal at least once a day. Food Not Bombs is one of the few organisations that I support, however.

Michelle + I have decided to customize old converse for people, so instead of throwing them away because they're a tad bit soiled or a little old, people will have revamped works of art to wear on their feet.
Yes, Converse IS owned by Nike, but they're still respectable shoes, and good for the environment.

Michelle and I have decided to advertise ourselves out, posting up some pre-made designs online, but also filling custom orders for custom Converse. At $20-$30 dollars each [Outlet prices], we will donate anywhere from 60% of profit to 80% of profit, depending on need for materials and shipping costs. 60-80% is a MAJORITY of all proceeds. No loopholes, no lies. That money will go into the hands of Food Not Bombs directly.

At some point, we hope to be our own separate charitable entity, meaning yes, you can list us on your taxes and get a write off [but you had better donate a portion of your tax-rebate as well, damned pigs...just kidding! :) ]

But I digress, further information concerning this unnamed project will come at a later time.
